Local guild certified custom rod builder, Garry Land will be on hand to help you build your very own, unique fishing rod for $50. The rod will have to be picked up at a future date to allow the epoxy to cure. Call Jess at 563-212-0955 with any questions. You must register here then mail a check written out to Clinton County Conservation Board (CCCB) for $50 and send to CCCB, % Jessica Steines, PO Box 68, Grand Mound, IA 52751 by Friday, June 19th.Your reservation will not be official until payment is received.
When registered, txt 563-212-0955 what blank you want. 7'+ heavy, 7' medium, 6.5' heavy, 6.5' medium.
Building a rod takes at least 2 hours. This depends on fine motor skills, hand/eye coordination and personal taste. We will stay until you are done. You may want to bring your own additional light as in a desk lamp and head lamp, some people have also benefited from magnifying glasses.
Feel free to bring your own food and drink (alcoholic is acceptable if you are of age).
