DUE TO COVID-19, ALL SUMMER CAMPS THROUGH JUNE 26 ARE CANCELED
The first of the FLOATs (Fun-Loving Outdoor Adventure Team) teaches campers basic outdoor skills while preparing for the higher level FLOATs.
Campers learn outdoor skills and experience canoeing basics, fishing, outdoor cooking, basic survival skills, games, hiking, how to read a map, and much more while exploring McFarland Park and Hickory Grove Parks! See related items below for further camp details.
This camp is only for children that are completing 3rd or 4th grade in the spring of 2020. Children may only be registered for one FLOAT I camp.
Registration begins on Thursday, April 16 at 6:00 p.m. Adding your child to the waiting list prior to April 16 will not hold a place for them. The registration is currently displayed as call to register. You will be able to register online when registration opens on April 16 at 6 p.m. Please wait until April 16 when online registration opens.
IMPORTANT: Mandatory health forms will be sent via email to those registered. Health forms must be returned to SCC at least one week prior to camp in order for your child to participate.The registration deadline is Monday, June 1, at 9:00 a.m.
Unless otherwise stated, refunds can be issued less a $5.00 processing fee per event for cancellations prior to the registration deadline. No refunds will be made after the registration deadline. To cancel a registration, please call (515)232-2516.
