The theme for this year's Halloween Hike is Life on the Prairie. The hike is meant to be fun, not scary, and all about prairies. The hike is at Cedar Bend Park. It is not suitable for strollers nor recommended for very young children due to length. Terrain is uneven and the hiking is moderate. Five characters will be dressed up along a lighted path. Characters will include prairie roots, a bur oak tree, a compass plant, a bison and a person describing prairie times. Tours begin at 6:00 PM, 6:15, 6:30. 6:45. Groups make 5 stops to listen to all the characters. The final stop is for hot cocoa and cookies. The hike takes 45-60 minutes to complete.

Fee- $3.00 per person, Children 5 and under are free
Each tour will accept no more than 25 people.
Children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult.
