Join us for the First of a 4 program series meant for birders of all skill levels! There will be three parts to the day and you are welcome to participate in any or all of the three sessions. We ask that you call ahead to register so that we can appropriately prepare for each session (641-394-4714).
Birder Kelly McKay will be taking us on a bird hike from 8-11 AM. There will be a break from 11-12 for you to get lunch, look around the nature center, or do whatever you'd like. From 12-2 PM, Kelly will give a bird identifiaction program for non-passerine birds. And from 2-5PM, there will be an additional bird hike.
This is a great opportunity to learn more about the birds in Iowa (especially at this time of year). It is highly recommended!
