People’s beliefs about snakes, whether they are local or far-off species, are often fear-provoking and incorrect. Come to learn of some commonly held beliefs about Iowa’s snakes, and to uncover these snakes’ true character with Rebecca Christoffel, president of the Snake Conservation Society. This program will include an audio-visual presentation, props, and live animals. No cost for program.
