Come out and reel in the fun as we learn more about casting and how to lure more fish to your line. Participants will learn about fish identification, water habitat, knots, and more. Of course, we’ll also go fishing. It will require a hike to get to the pond and back, but over a well paved trail. The Iowa Department of Natural Resources’ Free Fishing Weekend is June 3-5. All youth participants will receive prizes for participating. Cost is free but you MUST pre-register by calling 319-447-3590 to reserve your spot by May 30.
