Join the O’Brien County Conservation Board as we prowl the Waterman Creek

Prairie Heritage Center, O'Brien County

Saturday, July 13, 2013

Join the O’Brien County Conservation Board as we prowl the Waterman Creek on Saturday.  It is said that the Waterman Creek, that starts near Hartley and flows into the Little Sioux River near the Prairie Heritage Center, is the fastest moving body of water in Iowa.  The Waterman Creek offers great treasures, as it was once home to many Indian settlings, clear flowing water, and the colorful and smooth rocks that Mother Nature shapes from the fast flowing water.  An experience that you won’t want to miss!

Meet at the Prairie Heritage Center at 10 AM Saturday, July 13 and we will car pool to the Waterman Creek for this GREAT adventure!
