OWLS (Older Wiser Livelier Seniors) - Humpback Whales

Jester Park, Polk County

Tuesday, March 7, 2023

Humpback whales embark on one of the longest migration journeys in the animal kingdom. They possess many amazing adaptations and social behaviors to help them grow and survive. While whaling once threatened their extinction, today climate change serves as their number one challenge. Learn more about humpback whales and how their survival may also be linked to our own.

Looking for an excuse to get out of the house, make some new friends, and learn about the exciting world of nature? Then join us! These programs are held the first Tuesday of each month.
