How in the world do you tag a monarch butterfly? Find out at our
annual Monarch Tagging program at Hitchcock Nature Center. Learn more about
monarch butterflies, their unusual lifestyle and life cycle, and miraculous
migration to Mexico as we show you how to catch and handle monarchs. Learn how
to determine gender, and properly tag them in the wild and be a part of a
national research project. All monarchs will be released after they are
tagged.
Each family will receive an information packet with your own set
