Ahoy, Matey! Captain BushTale here, and I have a quest for you! Can you find my hiding crew? They are hiding at two different parks:
Christiansen Forest Preserve, 5583 310th Street, Huxley, IA
McFarland Park, 56461 180th Street, Ames, IA
To find them you will need to download or print the map I have made for you. Please find the maps below as related items. I have left a trail of clues and riddles for you to find and follow to help lead you to my hiding crewmate. Can you guess what kind of animal they are before finding them?
Let us know you found the hiding crewmate by posing for a photo, then post on Instagram or Facebook. Use #CaptainBushTale, and be sure you tag Story County Conservation! Long pants, and closed-toe shoes are recommended to participate in this activity as some of my clues might be off trail.
This activity is most appropriate for ages 4 and up, but all ages are welcome.
