Story County Step Out into Summer

Story County Conservation has created an online family challenge that will take you from your home and into our county parks- kicking off on May 28^th! Register by May 28th to receive the first missions, but you can sign up any time! Summer is almost here and we want to encourage you to get outside and explore, have some fun and gain points while doing it! The game will be played using the GooseChase app. What to do: 

• Download the GooseChase app (it's FREE!)
• Create your team name
• Search for: Story County Step Out into Summer
• Start earning points by completing missions to win a $50 gift certificate to JAX Sporting Goods!

Sign-up starts May 15 and the challenge begins May 28. New missions will be posted each Friday. Your team will have until July 5 to complete as many missions as you can. If you have questions, please email Beth Waage at ewaage@storycountyiowa.gov.

Our top priority has been and will continue to be the health and well-being of the public and the staff. In response to COVID-19, Story County Conservation programs will adhere to social distancing, smaller group size, increased sanitation, and we recommend face coverings when social distancing is not possible or while indoors. Pre-registration will be required when group size needs to be limited due to the facility or location.
