Story County Conservation has created an online family challenge that will take you from your home and into our county parks- kicking off on January 1st! You can sign up at any time throughout the challenge. Ring in the new year by going outside and playing!
The game will be played using the GooseChase app. What to do:
- Download the GooseChase app (it's FREE!)
- Create your team name
- Search for: Story County Polar Play
- Join the game and create a team.
Challenges will be released weekly starting on January 1st! Complete the challenges to earn points.
The winner will get a $50 gift certificate for a sweet winter treat at Chocolaterie Stam in Ames! (In the event of a tie, a name will be randomly drawn to be the winner.)
Sign-up starts December 15th and the challenge begins January 1st. New missions will be posted each Friday. Your team will have until February 6th to complete as many missions as you can. If you have questions, please email Beth Waage at ewaage@storycountyiowa.gov.
Unless otherwise stated, refunds can be issued less a $5.00 processing fee per event for cancellations prior to the registration deadline. No refunds will be made after the registration deadline. To cancel a registration, please call (515) 232-2516.
