Prairie in Your Pocket

Walking the prairies of Jackson County Isaac Anderson has adopted a special interest in prairie wildflowers and grasses. Join Isaac, our AmeriCorps Naturalist, in a fun and exciting prairie walk identifying different species of plants and critters!

In addition, participants will make seed balls containing prairie seeds that you can take home in your pocket. Toss your seed balls in your yard, garden, or other location to enjoy the prairie flowers.

This is a family friendly program. Cost is $5 per person.

Registration is required and will be limited to 25 participants.
