A scenic, quiet recreation area located along the Cedar River in northeastern Benton County offers camping and river access. If you like a peaceful camping or fishing experience, Benton City-Fry Recreation Area is the perfect campground for you and your family. The Cedar River offers anglers opportunities to fish for black crappie, channel catfish, freshwater drum, largemouth bass, smallmouth bass, northern pike, rock bass, walleye, yellow bullhead, and shovelnose sturgeon to name a few.

 

Benton City-Fry Recreation Area offers an open air shelter, pit restroom, river access, and a playground. This area is open to hunting September 15 - May 15 in the non-maintained portions for the property.
