PROGRAM CANCELED Looking to meet your
badge requirements? Look no further! Hartman Reserve Nature Center will be
hosting a Scouts After Dark! Created for those who are Brownies, Juniors, Bears,
Tigers, or Wolfs.
What's Covered?

Visit and learn more about Inclusion Connection. Inclusion Connection was organized in 2004 as a non-profit 501 (c)3. The initial concept was developed by a Dynamics of Inclusion class at Waverly-Shell Rock High School. Since its inception, the Inclusion Connection has expanded into an Employment Service, supporting adults of diverse abilities desiring inclusive work opportunities. The Inclusion Connection began overseeing the Together We Play program in 2012; a program modeled from the Kids Included Together organization which engages children with and without disabilities through training on inclusion, accommodations, behavior and more. The Inclusion Connection provides educational opportunities throughout the community and organizes an annual Inclusion and Communication Conference in partnership with the University of Northern Iowa.
- Take a night hike and discover Hartman Reserve at night. Learn about noxious plants as well as how to put together your own first aid kit for out on the trail. Explore Leave No Trace principles.
The topics will be
designed to meet or begin the following badges or requirements:

- 1st Aid
- Aware and Care
- Disabilities Awareness Belt loop and pin
- Jr. Trail Adventure
- Animal Habitats
Cost is $5/scout.
Please contact your local scout office for badges associated with these requirements
as we will not be providing physical badges. Parents are welcome to stay at no
cost. Dress for the outdoors and please bring your own flash light if able.
*If an adult will not attending with a child, you must fill out a waiver.
*Refund Policy: Refunds will only be given in the case of a
documented medical emergency or funeral for programs more than $10. If program
cost is under $10, a program voucher will be offered for a future program. If
a program is cancelled due to weather or other unforeseen reasons, then a
similar program will be offered in its place.
