2020 UPDATE: Due to Covid-related restrictions, we are doing Paddle in the Park BY RESERVATION ONLY this year. We are also requiring every participant to have a completed waiver in order to participate in this program. The waiver is attached to this program listing. Paddle in the Park is an annual paddling program series that is held at the South Boat Ramp at Big Woods Lake in Cedar Falls. Naturalists from Black Hawk County Conservation are on-site to offer canoes, kayaks, paddles and PFDs for an evening paddle throughout the summer.
Cost: $5/kayak
*All of our kayaks are single seat, sit-inside kayaks. Children can paddle in a kayak alone if they are 10 years or older.
