Yoga in the Park Mindful Monday Mornings: Summer Self Care

Hartman Reserve Nature Center, Black Hawk County

Monday, June 3, 2024

Monday mornings, June 3 - July 8, in-person at Hartman Reserve Nature Center, virtually on Zoom, or practice with the recordings any time on juliaandreini.com.

The next 6-week Yoga in the Park: Mindful Monday Mornings series is designed to support active bodies throughout the summer season using yin yoga, myofascial release, and movements to support your outdoor movement endeavors. This series incorporates yin yoga postures, embracing gentle poses that nourish fascia and muscles, and promote flexibility. With the aid of myofascial release balls, tension and tightness accumulated from biking, hiking, and other outdoor activities will melt away, leaving participants feeling refreshed. Myofascial release balls will be provided in person on Mondays and links to purchase distributed for your own home or virtual practice.

Class is limited to: 20

Cost: $60

Julia is an E-RYT 500 yoga teacher and functional breathing instructor. She first fell in love with an ambitious asana practice in her late teens and found a love for the philosophy and metaphysics of yoga and meditation in early adulthood. Armed with a healthy dose of compassion, a smile, and teaching experience with bodies of every age and ability, she is able to meet you where you’re at and help you further your practice and understanding of yoga. Her favorite styles to teach are yin yoga and yoga Nidra.

Program Policies: All registrations must be done online and no walk-ins will be accepted. Only the independent instructor may issue a refund. Black Hawk County only provides the venue for Hartman yoga classes and thus cannot be held liable for any cancellations or injury.
