Please dress in old clothes and tennis shoes.  Definitely no flipflops or sandals unless the shoe wraps around the ankle.  Children will likely climb the hills and this can be difficult in loose shoes.  The rocks & fossils are rough so longer shorts might be more comfortable if temperatures aren't too hot.  There is no shade.  Bring sunscreen and a hat/visor.  A lunch with at least 2 drinks is recommended.
