Each year the Butler, Bremer and Chickasaw County Conservation Boards come together to offer our Halloween Hike events. At this event, participants take a short woodland walk with stops to meet five characters that have something in common. Our theme is usually chosen in late summer, so keep your eyes on our social media pages to find out what it will be. This event is offered for a free will donation, and it includes hot drinks and treats after the hike. Registration will open the last day of September. You can register through this website or call the nature center at 319-346-6551.
When registering online or leaving a message, be sure to leave the following information: number in your group, requested hike time (6:00, 6:15, 6:30 or 6:45), and a contact number and e-mail in case we have questions.
