Campsite ELP #09 Eastern Red Cedar Campsite is a back-in gravel pad that is 40 feet long and 14 feet wide of gravel (RV may extend past gravel as long as tires are on rock).  Electric has 50/30/20 Amp electric service and water hookup.  Picnic table and fire ring are provided.

In the event of freezing conditions, the water to the campsites may not be on.  Please note that the camping fees will not change in the event the water is off.

RESERVATIONS MAY BE MADE UP TO ONE YEAR IN ADVANCE, BUT MUST BE MADE 5 DAYS IN ADVANCE.

All campsites are first come first serve if no reservation is on camp post.  Pay at check in site.

 

Location

East Lake Campround is located on the northeast corner of East Lake Park.  When pulling in the drive of East Lake Park, go straight up the hill and continue straight.

  • Extra vehicle allowed on site if at least 2 wheels are on the gravel sitepad
  • Boat trailer parking allowed on the grass of your site or in the overflow parking
  • Restroom/Shower house is located at the center of the campground
  • RV dump station is located on the southeast side of the campground
  • No out of state firewood...labeled firewood is for sale at registration kiosk

Camping is $25 per night

$4 processing fee per transaction

Check-In: No later than 10:00pm

Camping Check-Out: By 3 p.m. on your day of departure

Quiet hours from 10:00pm - 7:00am

Campground is closed seasonally from October 15 till April 15

Permits

 General Camping Rules...

  • Camping permitted only in designated areas
  • Check-in before 10 PM
  • Check-out before 3 PM
  • Only one camping unit per site, one family per site - may have an additional tent for children under 18 only
  • One picnic table per site
  • No out of state firewood
  • Build fires in pits provided only, do not burn trash
  • Bag all trash and fish waste before placing in refuse containers
  • Kegs are prohibited
  • ALL pets must be on a leash not exceeding 6' in length, kenneled or tethered at ALL times... clean up after your pet
  • No person shall remove, destroy or injure any animal, tree, shrub or flower
  • No driving on grass or parking on roadways
  • SPEED LIMIT is 10 MPH
  • Quiet hours are 10 PM to 7 AM
  • Only registered campers are permitted in area after 10:30 PM

All Rules & Regulations of the Clarke County Conservation Board are in effect.

All laws of the State of Iowa are in effect.
