Tuesday, March 15, 2022

Another exciting year of Osborne’s Older, Wiser, Livelier, Souls programs will begin again on Tuesday, March 15th.  This year’s theme will be “Discover our Museums”.   The first site in the series will be Moyna’s new Earthmoving Legacy Center in Elkader.

Throughout the year we will feature museum adventures throughout Northeast Iowa to reconnect to our amazing and historic part of Iowa while we learn a little and have some fun.  Other possible sites planned include the Garnavillo Museum, Lidtke Mill, Becker Woodcarving Museum, Churches, and in April a visit to the Buffalo Bill Museum.  As in the past, there will be an optional lunch after each tour.    The shuttle will leave Osborne Park at 10:45 a.m.

Reservations are required please call 563-245-1516 to register, cost is $10 per person.     Osborne Nature Center is located on HWY 13 five miles south of Elkader. The center is open from 8:00am to 4:00pm, Monday-Friday. For more information on events visit www.claytoncountyconservation.org.
