Gateway Area Tour ~ 1 PM-5:30 PM ~ Sawmill Museum, Clinton ~ Discover our Mississippi River. Sign up today to experience three Gateway attractions for FREE thanks to a sponsorship from the Curtis-Armstrong Foundation. You will tour the following sites: · Fulton Windmill & Cultural Center: Explore the windmill and discover the Dutch roots of Fulton · Blue Heron Eco Cruise: Explore the Mississippi River and Lock & Dam #13. If possible we will lock through Lock & Dam #13 · The Sawmill Museum: The river provided the logs needed to make Clinton a lumber capital. Live vintage sawing will occur with each tour.   Meet at The Sawmill Museum at 2231 Grant Street Clinton, Iowa at 12:45pm. Parking is available in lots. You will be assigned a group number, and each group will go through all three sites. Each site will last roughly 1 hour and 15 minutes with 15 minutes transition time. At this time, transportation will be provided to bus guests from The Sawmill Museum to the Fulton Windmill & Cultural Center.
