    Rental Contract Agreement

    By your agreement with these terms and conditions, you represent that you are 21 years or older and that you are authorized to make the reservation on behalf of the group you have listed. You further agree to assume full responsibility for the acts, negligence or omissions of the members of your group while utilizing said facilities. Additionally, you agree that you have read and understand the CANCELLATION and REFUND POLICIES concerning this reservation, and have also read and understand the FACILITY CONTRACT information. You are reserving a facility in on an Iowa County Conservation Board property. ALL COUNTY PARK RULES AND STATE LAWS ARE ENFORCED. Contact the Park Ranger listed on your reservation confirmation email if you have any questions about park rules, policies or special requests. Failure to clean up the facility or surrounding area as outlined, or failure to comply with park rules or state laws may result in enforcement action. Iowa County Conservation Board may take any legal action necessary to recover damages to county property. Iowa County Conservation Board staff reserve the right to enter the cabin in cases of maintenance or security problems. Maximum length of stay is 14 consecutive days. Maximum number of occupants is 8 per cabin. Tents, RV’s or campers of any kind are NOT allowed at the cabin site. Cooking is prohibited on the cabin deck or picnic table. Cabin furniture must remain inside at all times. You must make your reservation at least four days before the date of your stay.

    CHECK-IN TIME: After 4:00 PM on the day of arrival CHECK-OUT TIME: Before NOON on day of departure

    PETS Pets are prohibited in and around cabins.

    GETTING INTO A FACILITY Please push in the 4-digit code you selected at registration.

    CLEAN-UP You are required to clean up the facility and grounds and return them to the condition the cabin was in prior to your rental. Plan to have your facility cleaned and people departed prior to the scheduled NOON checkout time. Cleaning of wildlife or fish is prohibited in or around the cabin.

     FAILURE TO CLEAN THE CABIN WILL RESULT IN A HOUSEKEEPING FEE OF $50.00.

    Renters are liable for damages to the property or its contents that occurred during their stay and will be billed by Iowa County Conservation.

    VISITORS All visitors (other than registered overnight campers) must depart the park by 10:30 PM. Only the rental party may remain in the cabin after 10:30 PM. SMOKING All Iowa County buildings are a smoke-free environments. Smoking is prohibited in all buildings.

    PARKING Parking is confined to designated parking areas or in designated parking areas around the park. If you anticipate more vehicles than spaces provided, please contact the Park Ranger in advance. No parking or driving off roadways.

    DIRECTIONAL SIGNS & DECORATIONS Temporary, free standing directional signs are allowed – not to be attached to park furniture, signposts or other facilities. Decorations are allowed as long as they are free standing or not affixed in a manner that would damage a facility or any painted walls (tape, tacks and staples can cause damage to walls. The use of a no-stick adhesive is recommended). Special care should be taken with balloons so that they do not “escape” and possibly injure wildlife.

    REFUSE Iowa County Parks observe a “Carry In – Carry Out” refuse policy. All garbage must be deposited in the dumpsters near the entrance of the park at the time of departure.

    Cancellation Policy

    If you need to cancel a reservation, you will forfeit 100% of all reservation fees paid.

    All cancellations must be made by calling the Iowa County Conservation Board Office at (319) 655-8465.

    A $25 fee will be charged to reschedule a reservation.

    No reservations can be rescheduled within 2 weeks leading up to the original reservation.

    These rules are subject to change. Current Iowa County Conservation policies apply to all reservations.

    Refund Policy

    All reservations with Iowa County Conservation Board facilities are final. Reservations are non-refundable, unless the following situations occur:

    1. The National Weather Service has issued severe weather and/or travel conditions.

    2. We are unable to provide your facility (or like facility) in operable condition for the date of your event.

    3. Accident, serious injury or death of an immediate family member.

    Enjoy a peaceful stay in our deluxe two-bedroom Timber View Cabin, nestled in the tree line of Lake Iowa Park Campground. This single-story cabin features handcrafted log furniture made in Iowa and offers a quiet wooded setting with easy access to all park amenities. This cabin is ADA accessible, including an accessible bathroom with a roll-in shower.

    Spend your days exploring nearby hiking trails, swimming at the beach, fishing, renting a boat, or playing the 18-hole disc golf course. The Lake Iowa Nature Center, children’s playscape, and bird blind are all nearby. In the winter months, guests can enjoy ice fishing and deer hunting opportunities (registration required). After a day outdoors, relax on the large, covered deck and take in the peaceful surroundings.

    Parking & Access

    • Parking for up to 2 vehicles is provided at the cabin

    • Tents, RVs, and trailers are not permitted at the cabin

    Important Policies

    • No pets allowed in the cabin or surrounding grounds
    • Firewood must originate from Iowa County

     

    Check-In / Out Availability Check-in is after 04:00 PM and check-out is before 12:00 PM.

    Location The Timber View Cabin is located in the Lake Iowa Park campground located 5 miles south of Interstate 80 Exit 211. Go South from Exit 211 on H Avenue to the 4-way stop sign. Turn west onto 230th Street and drive for 1 mile. Turn south onto G Avenue and drive 3 miles. The park entrance will be on the left.

    Timberview cabin is a deluxe facility with a full kitchen complete with stove, microwave, and full size refrigerator. It is ADA accessible and has an ADA compliant shower.

    Fees

    This cabin rents for $110.00 a night.

    Failure to clean the cabin before checking out will result in a $50 fee.
