The woodcock's mating ritual is truly a remarkable sight. Join naturalists with Dubuque, Jackson and Jones County for a walk at dusk to look and listen for this elusive bird. Dress for the weather and be prepared to hike a short distance. Whitewater Canyon is located approx. 5 miles NE of Cascade, take Curoe Road South and follow access road to parking lot (follow brown arrowhead signs). Meet in Parking Lot
