Discover Wolves Bus Tour

Wickiup Hill Learning Center, Linn County

Friday, September 28, 2012

This four day bus tour will take participtans to Ely, MN, famed entrance to the Boundary Water Canoe Area Wilderness.  Our main area of interest will be the International Wolf Center which strives to be a focal point for worldwide education about wolves. The center promotes the wolf’s survival by teaching about the wolf’s way of life, how it relates to other species and its role within human society.  Of great interest will be the two new wolf pups the Wolf Center is introducing to the public and its captive pack this summer.

Other sites of interest will be the Minnesota History Center in St Paul, the Great Lakes Aquarium in Duluth, Gooseberry Falls State Park north of Duluth and the North American Bear Center in Ely.  Costs for the trip varies.  A double occupancy room is $439 per person.

For a brochure describing the trip details and costs please email gail.barels@linncounty.org.
