Saturday, June 23rd 7:30pm (tentatively):  COLOR WANDER AND HOWL AT THE NIGHT
Materials:  A blanket to sit on.
Time to wander through the beautiful and lively prairie and hunt for the colors on our pre-made guide!  Sign up for the mailing list or join the Facebook page to get instructions on making your own color guide ahead of time. Then we will watch the sun set and give the night a proper howling-good greeting.  Once we say our hellos, we will listen to the rest of the Wickiup Hill (wind, trees, animals, birds, insects, etc) say their own hellos.  Don’t forget your adventure journal!

Wandering Adventure ClubFamilies with children ages 3 to 7 come join our club adventuring through the changing Iowa environments at Wickiup Hill!  Adults work and explore together with their children on these fun, themed wanders that are designed to encourage engagement with nature.  Some wanders begin with mini-workshops and some will need a few materials.  Continue the fun between wanders by signing up to receive weekly at-home adventure missions, contests and more by emailing adventureclubiowa@gmail.com.  Please join the Wandering Adventure Club on Facebook to stay informed and share!  With all wanders, dress for the weather, bring a snack and water, and a camera if you’d like!
