An Additional Opportunity To Experience The Star Lab At The Prairie Heritage Center
Prairie Heritage Center, O'Brien County
Saturday, January 19, 2013
Have you heard? The Star Lab has been such a huge success in our schools this week that Charlene, our O’Brien County Conservation Board’s Naturalist, will be having the Star Lab two weekends in a row at the Prairie Heritage Center. The original event is scheduled for Saturday, January 26th and she will also be presenting this great opportunity for you to enjoy this Saturday, January 19th. Both events will get started at 6:00 P.M.
Talk with your students that have experienced this great opportunity this week and many more will be experiencing the same next week. Our O’Brien County students have traveled to the moon, sat on Saturn’s rings, and went in search of constellations while learning of their stories of old.
Both events will begin at 6:00 P.M. and will include a Prairie Walk following the Star Lab presentation if you are able (not required to participate in this event), so dress accordingly. Of course this Saturday’s walk will not include the Full Moon, but can you think of a better place to star gaze?
This Event Will Be Fun For ALL Ages & Free For Everyone To Enjoy!
Grab your gear and let’s travel through the stars!
