21, 2013 the Iowa DNR, U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, & The Nature
Conservancy have made the decision to cancel the Fire Management and Implementation on Prairie Restorations Workshop for Private Landowners that was scheduled to take place
Friday, February 22 at the Prairie Heritage Center. This workshop will not be rescheduled but don’t
miss the same workshop to be held March 18 in Cherokee.

At 9 A.M. on Friday, February 22, 2013 the Iowa DNR, U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, & The Nature Conservancy will be hosting Workshop for Private Landowners: Fire Management and Implementation on Prairie Restorations. This workshop is free to all landowners interested in prairie restoration, will take place at the Prairie Heritage Center, 4931 Yellow Avenue, Peterson, Iowa 51047, will conclude around 2 P.M., and there is no pre-registration required.
Please attend the scheduled workshop to help address any concerns you may have prior to implementing a burn and meet with other landowners who are about to embark on their prairie management using prescribed fire!
This workshop is NOT limited to O'Brien County Residents, it is available to all that are interested.
