Join Polk County Conservation Naturalists on a day float of the beautiful Boone River. We’ll depart from the Outdoor Rec. and Wellness Center at Jester Park at 8:00 am and travel by van to our launch point just South Webster City. Expect three to four hours of paddling, river flow dependent, with a lunch stop along the river before returning to Jester Park. Kayaks, paddles, and life jackets provided. All you need to bring is your lunch, a refillable water bottle, and plenty of sunscreen. Pre-registration is required; deadline is June 19. Fee: $25. Minimum age of 12 and previous paddling experience is strongly recommended.
