Yellow Banks Ball Diamond #2 is 315 feet deep and is set up for 70, 80 or 90 foot bases and has a 60' 6" foot pitching mound.  An accessible restroom/showerhouse and playground is within walking distance.

 

The nearby open-air shelter nestled in between two baseball diamonds is a shared facility with the other ballfield and cannot be individually reserved. 


Reservations may be made up to 2 years but must be made a minimum of 3 days in advance of the date of reservation.

Directions: After entering the park, you will come to a Y intersection, go left.  Once you come to the ball diamonds, turn right into the parking lot.

Fees

Reservation Fee: $20 per 2 hour reservation  

Advance Booking Requirement:

  • Reservations may be made up to TWO YEARS to date in advance.
  • Reservations must be made at least 3 days in advance.

Alcohol/beer/wine Restrictions:

  • If beer or wine is present at the shelter facility, rental must be in the name of a person who is 21 years of age or older who will be present at the facility for the full term of the reservation. No other type of alcoholic beverage is allowed. 
  • Any renter having keg beer is required to pay a $100 deposit to the Ranger on the day of the event and prior to the beginning of the event.
  • A special event permit is required to reserve the shelter at the ballfields.

Hours of Operation & Seasons

Summer Hours (April 1 - October 31) | 6:30 a.m. - 10:30 p.m.

Winter Hours (November 1 - March 31) | Sunrise to sunset

 

  • One may utilize the ballfield during reservation period. The adjacent shelter is shared with other ballfield reservations and only available for private rental through an approved special event permit and fees.
  • If the ballfield is not reserved for a particular date, it is available on a first-come basis.

Closures

Ballfields, when not reserved by another party, may be used free of charge on a first come first serve basis.
