Join us for Pottawattamie County Conservation's annual Maple
Tree Tap event on Saturday, March 2nd at Botna Bend Park in Hancock, Iowa. This
program will introduce you to the basics of syrup making from tapping the trees
to bottling the final product. If temperatures are cooperative and the sap is
flowing participants can even taste the sweet sap as it flows from the
tree.
Join us at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, March 2nd for this
all-ages program. This event will take place both indoors & outside, please
dress for the weather & wear appropriate footwear. Please meet at Olsen
Lodge at Botna Bend Park in Hancock, Iowa.
Cost for this program is $2.00 per person age 4 & over. Children
3 & under are free and do not need to register. This fee includes all
programming, refreshments, & park admission.
Pre-registration is required by Wednesday, February 27th as
space in this program is limited. Please register online. Due to the popularity
of this program early registration is recommended as walk-in space may not be
available on the day of the event. Thank you for understanding.
CANCELLATION POLICY
Guests may cancel their reservation for a full refund up to
1 week (7 days) prior to the program date by calling 712-545-3283 &
speaking with staff directly. Cancellations less than 1 week (7 days) in
advance of the event will not be refunded. Fees for programs cancelled by PCC
due to weather or other circumstances will be refunded.
