Investigate species of trees, vines & shrubs native to western Iowa with presenter Jack Phillips of New Tree School.

The Naturalist School at HNC is for serious naturalists who seek to deepen commitment and engagement in citizen science, nature education & conservation in Iowa's Loess Hills & the surrounding ecosystems of the Missouri River region.  These workshops are designed for adult learners only & are immersive, intensive, outdoors in all weather & physically demanding.

The Naturalist School at HNC limits enrollment in each seasonal session to 15 participants and the cost is $30.00 per session or $100.00 for all five April sessions.  Pre-registration is required, email newtreeschool@gmail.com for more information & to register.
