Lewis & Clark Excursion: 3rd & 4th Grade Camp

Go back in time to the era of Lewis & Clark in this historic camp. Learn map reading skills, & discover historic survival skills & trades that these adventurers used on their voyage through the Louisiana Purchase.
Campers will explore the diverse ecosystem of the Missouri River while learning more about the historic voyage that shaped our modern world. We will be covering an assortment of skills including archery, campfire cooking, & more!
Lewis & Clark Excursion is a three day camp, held on June 25th through 27th from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. and is designed for campers entering 3rd & 4th grade. The cost is $75.00 per camper & includes all three days of camp activities, supplies, and a snack each day. Campers must provide their own sack lunch each day.
PLEASE NOTE: Due to flooding this camp has been moved. Our first day will be held at Hitchcock Nature Center in Honey Creek. The second & third days will be held at Arrowhead Park in Neola. This change in location is necessary & we appreciate your understanding & support.If you have registered your campers & will no longer be able to attend with the change in location please call 712-545-3283 & speak to Rene at extension 1197.
Online pre-registration is required for this camp as space is limited.
