This event is sponsored by the Sioux Prairie Pheasants Forever and Sioux County Conservation Board. Open to youth ages 12-15 that have completed a hunter education course. The day starts with a review of hunting safety by a conservation officer, trap shoot then each youth will be paired with a mentor and hunting dog and go to the field to hunt. Morning ends with lunch and sharing of hunting stories. There is no cost, but only a limited number of youth can be taken. Call Sunday Ford at 712-552-3057 to pre-register.
