UPDATE: Location is the Lekwa/E-18 Access in Story City (56342 130th St.)
Join Story County Conservation for a fun evening learning all about the bats that call Iowa home lead by Dr. Russ Benedict, Professor of Biology at Central College. Location will be determined by August 16th and will be emailed out once it is decided. Participants will meet in the location’s parking lot at 7:30 p.m., where Dr. Russ Benedict will present a program on Iowa bats and allow attendees to get up-close looks at any bats that are captured. The event will last until about 10:00 p.m., but attendees may leave at any time.
This free event is open to the public.
