OWLS (Older Wiser Livelier Souls): Natural Resource Stewards

Invasive species are not a new problem in Story County parks, but we are tackling them with a new approach. Hear from Outreach Coordinator Erica Place about the development of the Natural Resource Steward position, what species they are targeting, and see examples of what they’ve accomplished so far. 

These free programs are held the first Thursday of the month from 10:30 to 11:30 AM.  Doors open at 10:00 AM for coffee/tea and chatting. 

All ages welcome, but the program is focused more towards adults.
