Canoeing and Kayaking
Lake Meyer Park and Campground, Winneshiek County

Winneshiek County Conservation will be
hosting an introductory canoe and kayak program at Lake Meyer on Sunday, May 20
at 2:00pm.
The program is free but registration is required by Friday, May
18 as there will be a limited number of canoes and kayaks available for use.
Please call (563) 534-7145 by noon on Friday to reserve your spot.
The program will cover basic canoeing and kayaking safety and
techniques. Vessels, paddles, and life jackets will be provided.
This event is open to all and no experience is required.
Children aged 6-10 must be accompanied in canoes by an adult. No children under
the age of 6 will be allowed in canoes or
kayaks.
In the case of inclement weather, the program will
be cancelled.
