Canoeing and Kayaking

Winneshiek County Conservation will host an
introductory canoe and kayak program at Lake Meyer on Sunday, September 16 at
2:00pm.
The program is free but space is limited and registration is
required by noon on Friday, September 14. Please call (563) 534-7145 to reserve
your spot.
The program will cover basic canoeing and kayaking safety and
techniques. Vessels, paddles, and life jackets will be provided.
This event is open to all and no experience is required.
Children aged 5-10 must be accompanied in canoes by an adult. No children under
the age of 5 will be allowed in canoes or under
10 in kayaks.
In the case of inclement weather, the program will
be cancelled.
