Full Moon Hike
Lake Meyer Park and Campground, Winneshiek County
Monday, February 22, 2016
Winneshiek County Conservation will
be leading a full moon hike on Monday, February 22 at Lake Meyer Park beginning
at 6:30 pm. Please meet at the east picnic shelter above the boat ramp. The
hike is free and open to all.
Bring your family and friends on a
full-moon exploration of the beautiful trails of Lake Meyer Park’s woods and
meadows. This easy to moderate hike will last for approximately one hour.
Snowshoes will be available if
needed. Please watch the forecast and dress appropriately for the weather and
possible mud.
Lake Meyer Park is located off
Highway 24 between Calmar and Fort Atkinson. In case of bad weather, please
tune to KDEC 100.5 and KVIK 104.7 for cancellation notifications.
