Forest Park Museum

Overview

Forest Park Museum is free and open to the public and includes an array of Dallas County Conservation Board facilities and attractions.

In addition to public programming provided throughout the year, Forest Park Museum offers a variety of historical and cultural programs for presentation to school groups, civic organizations, nursing homes, and other interested parties. Bring your group to Forest Park or have one of our naturalists visit your organization for a personalized experience of Dallas County's unique cultural heritage. The exhibit halls of Forest Park Museum are constantly undergoing updates and improvements. In Hastie and Baldwin Halls, graphic panels highlight topics such as farming, business, child labor, and railroads. In addition to perennial favorites, collections and interpretations are rotated throughout the season.
