The Monona County Veteran's Memorial Museum in Onawa, IA, provides a solemn reminder of the sacrifices made for the freedoms we enjoy, and often take for granted in our busy day-to-day lives It honors and remembers over 6,000 Monona County Veterans from the Mexican War through the current day including those who have served through peace time and the uncertain days and years of the Cold War.
