8:30 am - Registration at Briggs Woods Park Small Beach Shelter 9:00 to 11:00 am - Fishing at Beach Area

This family event is free to the public. IA residents do not need a fishing license as Cop's N' Bobbers Fishing Derby is held during DNR FREE fishing weekend June 6, 7, 8, 2025

All ages can fish since it is free fishing weekend, but prizes are only for ages 3 to 15.

Each participant will go home with a prize.

Feel free to bring your own fishing pole and tackle as there will be a limited number of fishing poles available to barrow.

Cops N' Bobbers was created to help bring law enforcement agencies together with the community they serve. This is a great opportunity to break down barriers and get to know the your local law enforcement officers. Come learn about fishing pole care/maintenance, fish identification, fish regulations, water safety, and other basic fishing instructions. Rain Date:  Sunday, June 8, 2025
