Trees
Forever and the University of Northern Iowa’s Tallgrass Prairie Center invite
you become a Steward of the Beautiful Land!
Explore the native ecosystems near
you! Stewards of the Beautiful Land is an educational series that covers the
importance of native plants and trees. Join us throughout the spring, summer,
and fall for webinars covering topics that will help you enjoy the native
environment around you and keep your part of the world a little greener! We are
now offering our individual webinars to everyone free of charge! https://treesforever.org/stewards/
Meet
us out in the field!
Get hands-on experience during
monthly, in-person prairie walkabouts. Four separate counties throughout Iowa
will host monthly field days for participants to learn about plant
identification and experience our state’s native ecosystem.
Tuesday, October 15 from 5:00 to 6:00 PM
Help Story County Conservation plant trees in the
Hickory Grove Park primitive camping area to replace ash trees lost to emerald
ash bore.
