Botanical Press Workshop
McFarland Park, Story County
Saturday, March 1, 2025
Artists,
herbalists, and plant lovers of all ages, we invite you to explore a timeless
natural craft that will help you deepen your connection to nature while
infusing your home with beautiful, dried plants. In this workshop you will learn
how to press flowers, leaves, and other plant parts to preserve their color for
years to come. Participants will have a variety of dried flowers and foliage to
pick from, then lay them down creatively in a picture frame, or a pressed
flower journal to take home. All of the materials you’ll need to get started
with botanical pressing, including your own plant press, will be provided.
All materials are provided, but participants are welcome to
bring in their own flowers/ plants or frames/journals as well.
Unless otherwise stated,
refunds can be issued less a $5.00 processing fee per event for cancellations
prior to the registration deadline. No refunds will be made after the
registration deadline. To cancel a registration, please call (515) 232-2516.
