Bobwhite State Park is a County operated park in Wayne County.  It is home to an array of exciting activities such fishing, camping, swimming, birdwatching, educational programs and much more!  There is also 5 miles of hiking trails at Bobwhite, much of which go through about 15 acres of restored prairie.  

Location

Bobwhite is 2 miles West of Allerton or 6 miles Southwest of Corydon.

Closures

The Bobwhite campground stays open through out November to accommodate hunters and closes December 1st.  The campground reopens April 1st.
