The Old Shelter House at Littlefield Park is located near Campground A and the entrance of the park. It is near playground equipment and flush toilets. There is a nice shaded area on one side of the shelter and an open area great for games and sports on the other. A hiking trail through the west timber area is located directly across the road. This shelter cost $20/day to rent. To make a reservation call 712-268-2762.

There are no set operating hours or seasons. The restrooms located near by will close sometime in October and will open up again in April.
