Meet Mukluk the Python

Event Summary

Get up close and personal with a giant snake! Come to this free, familyfriendly program and meet Mukluk, a Macklot’s Python. Don Becker, an avid snake enthusiast, will tell you more about the python. You will have a chance to touch or hold the snake if you’d like!Pythons are not native to Iowa, but Don and the Benton County naturalists will share information about Iowa’s snakes. You can also meet Cinnabar, the Nature Center’s resident Fox snake, who is an Iowa native.After you have met the snakes, you can try out a snake craft, or explore the Nature Center. Feel free to stop by any time from 2:00-4:00pm
