Oregon Trail Camp, Ages 9-12
Hartman Reserve Nature Center, Black Hawk County
Tuesday, July 23, 2019
Oh no! Eustace has dysentery and now we've broken a wagon wheel!
Kids will get to live the life of a pioneer and travel along the Oregon Trail.
Kids will have to keep their wits about them so they can make a life on the
West Coast. Kids will take over a pioneer's identity to walk a mile in their
shoes. They will get to play a live version of the game that will include
paddling, fishing, archery, buying/trading supplies, and getting an up-close
view of live bison and elk.
Ages: 9-12
Parents will receive an email before the camp outlining what each child needs to bring.
Fee: $85 per child/pre-paid, $100 per child/walk-in (on the day of the program - if any camper spots are still available**) (**NOTE: Please call the day BEFORE to see if camp is full before 'walking in’.)
Before and After care is available if you need to drop off or pick up earlier/later than the program time. If interested, you must schedule this in advance with your child’s registration.
(Refunds will only be given in the case of medical emergencies or for funerals. If a program is cancelled due to weather or other unforeseen reasons, then a similar program will be offered in its place.)
