Event Summary
In this all day camp, kids will get to travel and explore the Mississippi River Museum & Aquarium in Dubuque, Iowa. The Museum boasts 2 large buildings with many exhibits and live animals - both indoor and outdoor.
"Explore the history, culture, and wildlife along America's rivers! An affiliate of the Smithsonian Institution, the National Mississippi River Museum & Aquarium engages visitors in exploration of the history, culture, animals and conservation found along the Mighty Mississippi River and rivers of America.Enjoy dynamic aquariums and historical exhibits, a boatyard, the William M. Black dredge boat, and wetland area along our 14-acre campus. Up close and personal experiences with live animals take place daily, including Creature Features and various touch tanks."
Ages: 10-14
Cost: $50/child/pre-registered, $60/child/walk-in. Before "walking-in", please call to confirm there are spots open.
An email listing what each child needs to bring will be sent out before the camp.
**Before and After care is available but must be scheduled in advance.
(Refunds will only be given in the case of medical emergencies or for funerals. If a program is cancelled due to weather or other unforeseen reasons, then a similar program will be offered in its place.)Cost
