Yoga in the Park - Mondays, September 27 through November 15 (8 weeks)

Event Summary

Join Steffany, an experienced registered yoga teacher and a mental health counselor for gentle movement, breath work and meditation intended to reduce stress and increase relaxation, surrounded by the amazing beauty of Hartman Reserve. No experience is required. We encourage you to bring your own mat and additional mats will be available.

As a special part of the last class on November 15, Sound Therapist Collette Ellison will facilitate a sound bath. The vibrations and harmonies of sound healing instruments have the unique capacity to restore our natural resonance and bring us back into harmonic balance. Benefits of Sound Therapy are much like those of Forest Bathing, including reducing stress and anxiety, improving mood and cognition, and opening the mind and body to healing. During the yoga session, Collette will play alongside a sequence that moves up the chakras to elevate conscious connection.

Cost per 8 week session: $60. Register and pay here: https://www.signupgenius.com/go/5080945A5AC2EA6FD0-yoga4
